Scope of Responsibility
Responsibility for Installation Work
- The installer/contractor is responsible only for carrying out the installation items listed in the quotation.
- If, on the installation date, the customer has made changes or the site does not match the drawings used for the design and estimate in the quotation, thereby preventing the installer/contractor from carrying out the quoted work, the installer/contractor has the right to refuse installation immediately on that date. Watsadu Niyom also has the right to charge an additional lost-time fee of 1,500 baht/day as compensation to the installer/contractor.
- If the installer/contractor refuses the worksite and the customer does not accept that refusal, the customer may immediately report the matter to Watsadu Niyom, which will investigate the facts. However, if the customer wishes to negotiate directly with the installer/contractor and pays any price difference directly to them, Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. reserves the right to void all warranty terms in every case.
- If the customer makes changes and the installer/contractor can continue the work but additional installation items are required, the customer must contact only an employee of Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. so that a quotation can be issued for those additional items. Watsadu Niyom does not permit direct payment to the installer/contractor.
- After installation is complete, the customer must inspect the installation immediately, or no later than 1 day after completion, to prevent damage caused by others after installation, and must submit the installation handover form within 7 days after completion, indicating acceptance or non-acceptance of the installation. If the 7-day deadline passes, the customer will automatically be deemed to have accepted the installation.
- If the customer assesses and does not accept the installation, Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. will immediately coordinate with the installer/contractor team to correct the installation. Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. provides a 1-year installation warranty, subject to the warranty conditions.
- Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd.'s liability for installation damage caused by the installer/contractor will not exceed the value of that service work.
- An installation appointment may be postponed by calling the Company at least 3 business days before the scheduled installation date.
Responsibility for Products Used in Installation Work
- If the customer ordered and personally received the products, but on the installation date discovers when the installer/contractor opens them that they are not the products required, and the customer asks the installer to stop installation, Watsadu Niyom has the right to charge a lost-time fee of 1,500 baht/day as compensation to the installer/contractor.
- If the installer/contractor has already carried out installation and the products are found to be insufficient, the customer must personally order the additional products required and pay an additional installation service fee appropriate to the site. Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. will not apply the usual minimum labor charge—for example, the normal 20-square-meter minimum for WPC flooring—but will calculate a special charge for the additional amount. The customer must then complete payment before arranging a new installation date with an employee.
- If the installer/contractor has completed the installation and products remain, the customer may return the surplus under the return conditions. Only wood still in its package or in perfect condition may be returned.
Installation Requirements
Preparation Before Installation
- The customer must designate and prepare the product storage location and protect the products from damage.
- Products should be stored under cover and protected from rain and splashing water.
- The area must be level, dry, strong, and free of standing water, with a roof or tarpaulin providing protection from sun and rain.
- It must be away from cement-mixing areas or sand piles.
- Do not stack other materials on the products, as this may damage them.
- Do not place the products more than 10 meters from the installation area; additional product-transport charges may apply.
- The customer must prepare water and electricity supplies for use.
- On the day the installer/contractor surveys the installation site, the customer must provide a person who determines requirements, coordinates, has decision-making authority, and accepts the survey work from the installer/contractor.
- For a condominium or rented house, if the installation area is occupied at that time by a tenant rather than the owner, the installation team reserves the right not to provide installation service.
- If the installer/contractor or surveying employee finds that the preparations do not meet the requirements and/or affect worker safety, Watsadu Niyom reserves the right to refuse installation service.
- Before the site survey, the house should be approximately 80% complete, including structural work (piles, pile-driving, footings, foundations, beams, columns, roof corners, masonry, and plastering); plumbing and electrical systems; ceiling installation; built-in furniture, doors, stairs, and balustrades; painting (including ceilings, walls, doors, stairs, and balustrades); and bathrooms and other wet work. Bathroom floors should be lower than room floors, door clearances must allow for the floor thickness, stair nosing heights must be suitably raised, and similar preparations must be complete.
For a new installation, the customer must prepare the site floor as follows: For a smooth, power-troweled concrete floor
- For a smooth, power-troweled concrete floor, remove any mortar fragments from the surface with a putty knife. If they cannot be removed with a putty knife, grind the area smooth and flush with the concrete floor throughout. On an otherwise level surface, fill and level any depressions with a smooth sand-cement screed. If cracks are found, fill them with a chemical filler. If the floor is uneven and has many depressions, level and finish it properly with a sand-cement screed. Tiles may crack; in this case, Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. will not be responsible for the tiles under any circumstances.
- The installation area must be clean and free of dust and sand, with moisture not exceeding 13%.
- After installation, the customer should open the room to provide good ventilation and should not allow the room to become excessively hot or cold; leave the site at a suitable natural temperature. For flooring work, the customer should not move furniture or drag heavy objects across the floor, because this can scratch the surface. For products installed with adhesive, the customer should leave the site undisturbed for 1–2 days so the adhesive can dry completely, and should not drag furniture or heavy objects across the installed area for 1 week. Avoid direct contact between the wood floor and water because wood naturally contracts and expands continually; excessive moisture can cause swelling. If water spills on the wood floor, wipe it up immediately with a dry cloth and do not allow standing water on the floor. Avoid any behavior that risks damaging the wood, such as wearing stiletto heels or golf shoes or dragging objects across the wood flooring. For long-lasting, durable use, customers are advised to place protective pads under table legs and use soft casters. For daily cleaning, wipe normally with a clean cloth dampened with water and wrung out well.
During Installation
- While the installer/contractor is carrying out installation, other installers/contractors are not permitted to work alongside them unless authorized by an employee of Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd.
- During installation, the customer must have a person at the site who determines requirements, coordinates, and has decision-making authority to oversee the work.
- If additional work beyond the agreed scope is required, the customer must contact only an employee of Watsadu Niyom. Direct payment to the installer/contractor without going through Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd. is not permitted, and such work will not be covered by any warranty under any circumstances.
After Installation Is Complete
- The customer must inspect the installation immediately, or no later than 1 day after completion, to prevent damage caused by others after installation, and must submit the installation handover form within 7 days after completion, indicating acceptance or non-acceptance. If the 7-day deadline passes, the customer will immediately be deemed to have accepted the installation.
- If any problem arises from the installation work, the customer must contact an employee of Watsadu Niyom Co., Ltd.

- Please note that the Company will make every effort to ensure that you receive products and services that meet your requirements and provide the greatest possible satisfaction.
Warning
Watsadu Niyom WPC boards, laths, and wall products are suitable only for general exterior decorative use.
- They are strictly prohibited from being used as construction structural elements, and must be installed only in accordance with the installation manual using equipment that meets the manufacturer's standards.
- Product colors may vary slightly between production lots. The products are manufactured to resemble real wood, so their color may fade by no more than 15% over their service life.
- Never paint the products or apply strongly acidic or alkaline solutions. Store them as recommended to avoid problems, as the products may bend, twist, develop mold, or become stained.
- Install only in accordance with the manual we provide.
- Do not ingest the product or inhale its dust.
- Do not use the product in wet areas.
Precautions to Avoid Danger
Watsadu Niyom WPC products are designed and their methods of use specified solely for conditions in Thailand. Use outside Thailand is the direct responsibility of the designer, construction supervisor, and installer.
The framing should provide ventilation and drainage. Observe the direction of water flow, and do not place joists or steel framing across the water path. Where necessary, leave a gap or cut a drainage channel.
For a long service life, every WPC fastening must always be pre-drilled with a drill bit one size smaller than the screw before the screw is installed.
WPC floorboards should be laid level and spaced apart to allow water to drain easily.
Do not modify other clips or materials for use as clips.
The steel frame's wood-bearing face must be at least 5 cm wide, or exactly equal to 5 cm.
Wood-color coating products contain chemicals. Do not swallow or ingest them, and do not allow them to contact the eyes.
While working, use personal protective equipment that meets applicable standards. After use, store the product out of children's reach.
If skin contact causes irritation, immediately rinse the area repeatedly with clean water and promptly consult a doctor.
If swallowed or ingested, do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of clean water to dilute it, and promptly consult a doctor.
Storage
- Place products on a level surface. If the surface is uneven, support them with a pallet or wood blocks every 30 cm.
- While preparing the area where the WPC will be installed, store the boards away from sunlight and moisture. Because they are enclosed in plastic packaging, trapped moisture can cause dampness and staining.
Product Care
- Do not allow water to remain pooled around the wood for a long period.
- For general cleaning, use plain water. Remove dirt with a pressure washer or a soft plastic brush.
- If heavy staining occurs, wipe it away promptly, then clean the area with a clean cloth dampened with plain water and wrung out well.
Recommendations for Safe Work
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, or sanding Watsadu Niyom WPC products may release airborne dust. Ingesting or inhaling large quantities over a prolonged period may harm the respiratory system and the body.
- Wear personal protective equipment that meets applicable standards, such as a dust mask, safety glasses, protective clothing, gloves, and footwear.
- To avoid potential danger, do not allow people without compliant protective equipment, or people not involved in the work, near the work area.
- After cutting, grinding, drilling, or sanding, clean with a vacuum cleaner or water to prevent dust from becoming airborne.
- Carefully separate and collect waste from installation, repairs, and demolition, and dispose of it hygienically in accordance with government requirements.
- Wash your body with clean water after completing the work, in accordance with the safe-work recommendations.
- Do not work during thunderstorms.
- Cutting, grinding, drilling, and sanding should be performed in a well-ventilated area.
- Lift and move products carefully. Do not bend your back while lifting, and do not turn or twist your body to change direction while carrying a load. Avoid working continuously for long periods to prevent injury and fatigue.
